Overnight Custodian

Your New Role As a custodian, you will be part of the team helping to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of this incredible space. We are looking for candidates with the right experience to help preserve our studio lot and the many office buildings our employees sit in. This role will be working during our overnight shift: 6pm-2:30am. Your Role Accountabilities Keep building and property in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties throughout our studio backlot offices and buildings. Sweep, mop, wax, or vacuum floors. Gather and empty trash. Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities (private offices and public). Dust furniture, walls, and equipment. Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs. Driving responsibilities may include driving golf carts between buildings to transport cleaning supplies, both within the studio lot and on public road to get to other company buildings off-lot. Possibility of weekends and/or holiday shifts. Qualifications & Experience Prefer 1-2 years large commercial facilities (medical center, school campus, major hotel) janitorial experience. Must have a working knowledge of English. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours. Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time. Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions (Material Safety Data Sheets “MSDS”). Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals. Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules. Valid CA Driver’s License preferred. A record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history and a valid CA driver’s license. Compensation & Benefits In compliance with local & state law, we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that will be performed in Burbank, CA. Pay Rate: $21 per hour.
