Production Associate

Atlas Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a leading building products manufacturer in Spokane Valley, Washington. This temp to hire opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule and hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 Shift : Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Role Purpose The Manufacturing Associate assists machine operators and production teams with daily manufacturing activities. This role supports production, material handling, warehouse activity, equipment operation, and general worksite organization. Responsibilities Complete repetitive and sequential production assignments accurately and safely Keep production areas, machinery, conveyors, and floors clean and free of debris Wear required safety equipment and follow all company safety procedures Report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to a supervisor immediately Collect reusable scrap and transport trash and debris away from production areas Keep pallets, materials, and work areas neat and organized Operate machinery and equipment after completing required training and certification Assist the lead operator or supervisor with shift production preparation Learn the mechanics and operation of assigned production equipment Work with conveyors, ramps, elevators, hoppers, bagging equipment, sealers, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, and powered vehicles as trained Operate hand tools and assist with loading and unloading trucks Package and label products according to established requirements Assist with shipping and receiving documents Handle stockpiles and verify outgoing loads Count, verify, and maintain product inventory Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Ability to read and understand simple written and verbal instructions Ability to follow production and safety procedures Ability to recognize differences between words, numbers, and product information Ability to print and speak simple sentences Ability to complete basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to complete required internal equipment certification and training Ability to demonstrate proper lockout tagout procedures Ability to maintain control of assigned locks or keys at all times Willingness to attend weekly safety meetings Reliable and consistent attendance Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds from ground level Why Choose Atlas Staffing?
