Alex Yarber Salon is seeking a highly organized, professional, and motivated Salon Manager & Guest Experience Coordinator to help oversee daily salon operations while providing exceptional front desk support.

This is not a traditional receptionist position. We are looking for someone who can help manage the day-to-day flow of the salon, support our team, improve guest experiences, and assist in driving the continued growth of our business.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader, thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves organization, and understands how to create a luxury guest experience from the moment a client walks through the door.

Responsibilities

Front Desk & Guest Experience

• Greet and check in guests
• Answer phones, emails, and text inquiries
• Schedule appointments and manage booking optimization
• Confirm appointments and fill cancellations
• Process retail and service transactions
• Ensure every guest receives a luxury experience

Salon Operations

• Manage daily salon flow and stylist schedules
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
• Track retail performance and inventory levels
• Assist with salon systems, policies, and procedures
• Support onboarding and training of team members
• Help maintain salon cleanliness and presentation standards

Marketing & Business Support

• Assist with social media content and behind-the-scenes creation
• Help coordinate promotions, events, and educational classes
• Monitor online reviews and client feedback
• Support client retention and rebooking initiatives
• Assist ownership with administrative and business projects

Qualifications

• Previous salon, spa, hospitality, luxury retail, or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Experience with scheduling software and customer service systems preferred
• Ability to solve problems independently and think proactively
