Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Self-scheduling available

Highlights:

• 26-bed Labor & Delivery unit with comprehensive perinatal services including high-risk obstetrics
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum and specialty cases; 1:3 for postpartum and outpatient monitoring
• EMR system: Meditech with CPN (GE) fetal monitoring platform
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, and Monica Novii wireless telemetry
• Typical procedures: C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC placement, and fetal monitoring
• Team nursing model with strong collaborative culture and supportive leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification required
• Preferred: C-section circulating experience and high-risk labor & delivery background
