X-Ray Technician

Role Overview This position involves performing radiologic procedures, including x-ray testing, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The technician operates diagnostic imaging equipment, develops films, prepares treatment rooms, and may perform Medical Assistant duties. The technician operates diagnostic imaging equipment, develops films, prepares treatment rooms, and may perform Medical Assistant duties. Key Responsibilities Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times effectively Assist patients with transfers and procedures under provider supervision Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies Prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring safety and proper equipment functioning Perform quality control to ensure accurate imaging Report equipment issues and maintain licensure and certifications Follow documentation protocols and support patient care processes Maintain current knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and safety procedures Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent BLS certification required Tennessee X-Ray license; ARRT certification preferred Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills Additional Information Full-time team members work rotating shifts, including weekends; PRN roles are scheduled as needed Benefits include competitive salary, medical/dental/vision plans, retirement plans, paid time off, and discounts A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning is essential #J-18808-Ljbffr Home Health Care, Inc.
