1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse SupervisorCJ Logistics is searching for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Arlington, Texas location. This position is responsible for directing and engaging operations employees in CJ Logistics Center to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals while collaborating with other leaders and team members to implement, develop, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives and leading practices. Pay Range: 62,321-70,000 Shift: Monday to Friday 5:30 am-2pm Position Responsibilities:Engage the WorkforceInteract with and motivate the workforceConduct daily shift meetingsSolve problems and address issues for employeesRegularly communicate team goals and resultsDeliver Operational Performance (including Productivity and Efficiency Targets)Understand and communicate shift, Customer and Logistics Center goalsExecute the daily work plan including goals and workflow managementImplement CJ Logistics' Labor Management Program (performance observations)Provide front line feedback on staffing needs to Supply Chain Leader and Operations LeaderManage Employee Performance (including Safety, Quality and Productivity)Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedbackTrack and communicate Operations Specialist performanceConduct safety observations and participate in Safety CommitteeMonitor and manage employee time, attendance and payrollEnsure Implementation of Leading PracticesJob shadow Operations SpecialistsIdentify training and cross-training needsConduct on-the-job training with Operations SpecialistsPerform process quality checks and program managementConnect employees to customer business objectivesCommunicate customer specific requirementsReview Logistics Center performance against Customer requirementsHelp the Operations Specialists to feel more connected to the larger customer goalsJob Qualifications: RequiredBachelor's degree or requisite experience1-3 years of direct supervisory experienceSkills in leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamworkEmphasis on safety is extremely importantPreferredUnderstanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with MHEFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and WordFamiliarity with warehouse management systems or Red Prairie WMS is a plus.The salary is commensurate with experience.
