Travel Registered Nurse – Freestanding Emergency Room (FSER)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite | Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective treatment
• Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Respond to urgent and critical patient situations in a fast-paced emergency environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour mid shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
• Compliance with all facility health screening and credentialing requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or freestanding ER setting
• TNCC or CEN certification
• Experience with high-acuity and fast-paced emergency patient populations
