Upper Extremities Sales Associate - Miami, FL

Overview Stryker Position Title: Upper Extremities Sales Associate Territory: Miami-Dade County, Broward County & Palm Beach County What you will do Partner closely with Sales Representative(s) in the area to learn the medical device industry and Upper Extremities business, and contribute to the growth of that business in the assigned territory. Collaborate with the Sales Rep(s) in all aspects of the sales call pattern, including, but not limited to, covering cases in the assigned territory, marketing and promotion of the products in the assigned accounts, building of sets, managing inventory, and, as they learn and grow, beginning to convert customers to Stryker. Attend surgeries in which Stryker Upper Extremities products are used, to ensure products are available for surgeon use and to instruct surgeons regarding product use and functionality. Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel on proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. Work with sales teams to contact customers to identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the customer relationship. Identify the needs of new prospects, in conjunction with the assigned Sales Representative, and develop appropriate responses. Tailor Stryker’s promotional message after product training based on knowledge of the customer; advise on appropriate product selection; answer questions about product functionality; distinguish Stryker products from competitors. Perform field calls for the account(s) and assigned territory. Assist in the implementation of new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization; partner with the Sales Representative to meet and exceed business targets (quotas). Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representative(s) and acquire a basic understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance issues, and adhere to these guidelines. Assist in the resolution of problems or questions arising in account(s). Partner with Sales Rep(s) on inventory management and building of proper inventory levels and sets to meet customer needs. Assist and partner with Sales Rep(s) in acquiring and processing Customer Purchase Orders (POs) for proper invoicing; maintain training in sales skills and products. Market the product line to customers based on knowledge of functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker’s Upper Extremities products from those of competitors; remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends. Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours. Adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information; protect organizational assets; act with ethics and integrity; report non-compliance; adhere to applicable laws, accreditation, licensure requirements, and Company policies. What you need Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree or Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT) with at least 2 years of professional or related experience High School Diploma with at least 4 years of professional or related experience 4+ years of active duty military service Preferred Qualifications: Must reside in Miami 1 year of OR experience preferred Clinical background preferred (e.g., Surgical Technician) Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Sales Base/Draw + commission: $65,000 and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Stryker Group
