Nurse Extern Telemetry

St. David’s Medical Center in Austin is seeking a Nurse Extern for the Telemetry unit (PRN) to support high-quality, patient-centered care. Under the supervision of RNs, you will assist with vital signs, cardiac and telemetry monitoring, basic patient care, documentation, and safe transport. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, reinforce infection control and safety standards, and communicate changes in patient status promptly. This role offers exposure to complex cardiac and medical-surgical patients, professional mentoring, and opportunities to build clinical skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
