Inventory ClerkThe selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida office.Responsibilities:Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processesPrimarily responsible for manual and automated inventory control actions.Performs and monitors administrative (and procedural application) of inventory controlAssist with tagging and inventory control for company owned Capital property and Customer/Government propertyComputes and accumulates data for use in analysis. Analyzes reports and records activities, reports inefficiencies to supervisors and recommends corrective actions to improve operations.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by handCount, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP systemSupport / complete monthly, quarterly, yearly inventory auditsInspects and identifies property. Inspects conditions of property received.Performs shelf-life inspections of stock.Prepares statements of facts surrounding property loss, damage, or destruction through causes other than fair wear and tear.Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildingsHolds the ability to handle items (45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.), use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves, and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workloadBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Qualifications: Required:US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of workAbility to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of work and contract requirementsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment supporting the inventory processValid Driver's License requiredWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
