Certified Welder - MIG/Stick / TIG

Job Title- Welder

Work Location- San Antonio, TX, 78220

Contract Duration 12 months contract possible to extend

Shift- 1st

Pay rate - $18/h to $20/h

Weld units and components using prescribed procedures and standard welding methods.

• Must have 2+ welding certifications : GMAW/MIG, SMAW/Stick, SAW, GTAW/TIG, RSW, or Stud Welding.
• 2G certification required; 6G preferred.
• Must pass a 2" pipe welding test using short-arc and spray methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and welding symbols .
• Set up and adjust welding machines and operate positioning equipment.
• Perform material preparation, rigging, load handling, and weld pressure testing as authorized.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Team activities.
