The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, power, lighting, and effective communication skills. Project types include: Utilities, municipal infrastructure, marinas, agriculture, parks and recreation, site and roadway illumination, private power distribution, and more.

- Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract. This includes observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.
- Communicates professionally with clients, contractors and builds ongoing business relationships
- Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
- Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, for project analysis, study, and design.
- Assist in creating cost estimates for projects.
- Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
- Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
- Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience
- Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering
- Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others
- Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues
- Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff

- Professional Engineering License Required.
