About the Position

Job Title: RN PACU Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 08:00 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Includes pre and post-procedural care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. - Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, IV initiation, ECG, and vital signs monitoring. - Post-procedure management of vascular access sites. - Assisting physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions. - Other duties as assigned. Description: The position involves providing care for patients in a multi-bay pre/post area. The candidate will service patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and hybrid structural heart procedures. Candidates should be prepared to perform essential nursing duties in a fast-paced environment. Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team are required.
