Join Gilead and help create possible, together.Job DescriptionThe Clinical Trial Capabilities (CTC) organization offers infrastructure, support, and solutions enabling the Clinical Operations and Development Organizations with rapid, efficient, and compliant clinical trial execution to deliver transformative medicines to patients.The Vault Clinical Business Admin support team is responsible for supporting Vault Clinical Governance, including business change control, data governance, report request activities as well as system support.This role will sit in Foster City, CA.Job Description:Leading workstreams for the Gilead Vault Clinical implementation in collaboration with Line ManagerConducting day-to-day operational activities according to agreed business processes for (Veeva) Vault Clinical supportContributing to workshops for problem solvingExperience with Change Control, Configuration Management and other Governance activities such as Data Stewardship and GovernanceMaintaining the Vault Clinical SharePoint Site (SharePoint Online skills essential)Maintaining the business operations user manualBusiness admin of the Vault Clinical system using agreed Business operational processes and proceduresTake part in end user testing and end to end testing from a user perspectiveParticipating in end user office hours, preparing FAQs and recommendations for operational change management activitiesRequired Knowledge/Skills:Technical Skills:Advanced level MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Strong technical ability with SharePointStrong technical ability with project repositoriesSharePoint Online skillsSystem Operational support:Ability to work independently without micro-managementWorking in an iterative mannerExcellent organization skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, to tight timelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailInterpersonal Skills: Strong change champion with a good understanding of change management strategiesAbility to work as part of a team with excellent people skillsStrong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence programs, projects and/or initiativesBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years’ ExperienceORMasters' Degree and Six Years’ ExperienceOR Ph.D.Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant technical team or operational support experience4+ years of relevant experience (project management, process improvement) 2+ years of Clinical Operations Experience, including leading various stages of the clinical trial process and cross-functional experienceExperience working with one or more therapeutic areas and varying stages of drug development is a plusPeople Leader AccountabilitiesCreate Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams.Develop Talent - understand the skills, experience, aspirations, and potential of their employees and coach them on current performance and future potential. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
