The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC machines including vertical and horizontal milling machines, lathes, and multi-axis machines to produce precision components. This role requires interpreting intermediate-level blueprints and ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. The machinist will work day or night shifts and collaborate frequently with other departments to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production runs
• Read and interpret machining programs and blueprints
• Perform precision milling and lathe operations
• Conduct quality inspections to verify accuracy
• Maintain machine calibration for optimal performance
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate regularly with other teams to coordinate production

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machining
• Knowledge of CNC programming and blueprint reading
• Strong skills in machining mathematics and precision measurement
• Experience with tooling setup and quality control
• Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Familiarity with safety procedures and time management
