Job Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Food Service to join our team! As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement food service menus, recipes, and standards to ensure compliance with dietary regulations and patient needs

• Manage and supervise food service staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

• Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure food service meets patient care needs and preferences

• Develop and manage food service budget, including procurement, inventory, and waste management

• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Ohio Department of Health, and accreditation bodies

• Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff

• Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, and maintain a clean and organized food service area

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Knowledge of food service regulations, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
