Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents while following dietary requirements, special diets, and nutritional guidelines

• Maintain strong knowledge of proper food preparation, storage, and handling procedures

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards

• Comply with state dietary regulations and facility policies

• Provide friendly, respectful, and timely meal service to residents

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen and work area

• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure excellent resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Ability to work in a healthcare environment while maintaining resident safety and well-being

• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

• Dependable, caring, and committed to providing quality service
