Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized medical unit, capable of floating between IMCU, orthopedic, and rehabilitation units. The position offers a unique opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, including those with hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, CPR certification (AHA or ARC), NIHSS certification, and at least 2 years of current experience in a similar setting.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
• Floating: May be required to float between IMCU, orthopedic, and rehabilitation units based on unit needs.
• Unit Information: Care for adult patients with complex medical conditions including post-surgical, medical, and trauma cases.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital or healthcare setting; specific experience in moderate to high acuity units preferred.
• Additional Information: May care for COVID-19 patients. The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment; prior notification is recommended.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have current licensure without license hits and meet all certification prerequisites.
• Start Date: 08/03/2026, with flexibility for pre-approved time off.
