Program Director

Artemis Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our client's team! Position Name: Program Director Location: Grand Junction, CO Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health & Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center Pay: $80,000 Shift: Mon-Fri 5:30a-2p and rotating Sat 6a-10a Qualifications: Required: Minimum of 4 years of experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, counseling, psychology, or a related field. At least 1 year of leadership or management experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting. Experience overseeing budgets, operational expenses, and financial performance. Knowledge of addiction treatment practices, methadone treatment, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Experience working with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. Previous experience managing multiple healthcare locations or outpatient treatment programs. Job Summary: Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows, quality patient care, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Lead, mentor, and supervise clinical and administrative staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staffing needs. Manage clinic budgets, payroll, operational expenses, and financial reporting while maintaining accurate patient and medication records. Partner with medical leadership and clinical teams to support treatment services, patient engagement, and continuity of care. Maintain regulatory compliance, coordinate quality improvement initiatives, and support accreditation requirements, including CARF standards. Address operational challenges, patient concerns, and staff performance while promoting a safe and supportive treatment environment. Build relationships with community partners and regulatory agencies to strengthen program services and patient outcomes.
