About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Taxation to lead its tax team within the Finance & Fund Services business. The successful candidate will be a senior tax professional with over 15 years of experience, particularly in the wealth management and superannuation sectors. This key role is pivotal in ensuring the company's compliance with tax obligations and providing strategic advice on tax policy and the impact of legislation. The Executive Director will be responsible for optimizing the tax position of the corporate group and externally managed funds, as well as leading a team to deliver accurate and timely tax reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships, both internally and externally, and will be an experienced leader who can foster a high-performing and engaged team. They must be adept at managing risks and ensuring that tax policies are in line with relevant laws. The role requires a professional who can make decisions in the best interests of the customers and members, and who embodies the values of trust, integrity, and a strong risk culture. The Executive Director will also be expected to support the company's commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce and to contribute to an environment where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential.
