Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Position Details

• Position: RN OB/Labor & Delivery
• Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery, OB, and/or Postpartum nursing experience
• Must be comfortable floating between L&D and Postpartum
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS, NRP, STABLE Required
• Candidates without STABLE certification may obtain it prior to the start date

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Postpartum patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Perform newborn and maternal assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
