Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), flexible schedule with rotating weekends, no call required

Highlights:

• Work in a Level I Trauma facility specializing in advanced cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Scrub role focusing on cardiovascular and vascular surgery, including CABG, valve replacements, heart and lung transplants, and complex aortic repairs
• Epic charting system used facility-wide
• Case mix includes open procedures (CABG, valves, AAA, aortic dissections, amputations, fistulas) and endovascular cases (TVAR, EVAR, TAVR, fistulograms, angiograms)
• Collaborative team environment with interdisciplinary support in a state-of-the-art 7-room cardiovascular OR
• Contract assignment with time-off options available

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years overall OR experience
• Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular surgery experience
• Minimum 1 year CVOR scrub experience (required – must have experience scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Experience with heart and lung transplant, aortic aneurysm repair, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, ventricular assist devices (LVAD/RVAD), endovascular aneurysm repair, and TEVAR required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required promptly upon contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
