This Production Associate role supports electronic manufacturing operations by performing testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging to help meet customer deadlines. You will work in a light industrial environment with clear production standards and goals, receiving detailed instructions and close supervision while you develop your skills. This position is ideal for candidates with electronic assembly or soldering experience, as well as motivated entry-level candidates from retail, food service, or other manufacturing backgrounds who want to build a long-term career in a growing organization.

• Support production manufacturing activities to ensure customer deadlines are consistently met.
• Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks according to established work instructions and procedures.
• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including tasks similar to inserting one hose into another by hand, while meeting defined production metrics and throughput goals.
• Use basic hand tools and follow blueprints or work instructions to complete routine electronic assembly tasks.
• Operate within established production standards, policies, and procedures, seeking approval for any deviations.
• Follow detailed instructions on all assignments and work under close supervision while gaining job skills and knowledge.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality by monitoring your own work, adhering to quality policies, customer specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve quality and eliminate waste, delivering work that minimizes scrap and rework.
• Adapt to changes in work plans, priorities, and leadership direction while maintaining productivity and a positive attitude.
• Participate in improvement initiatives, including workplace organization practices such as 5S, to enhance the work environment and efficiency.
• Work cooperatively within a team and cross-functional teams as needed, sharing information, knowledge, and experience with coworkers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, keeping them informed of progress and escalating issues when necessary.
• Manage time effectively to complete assignments on schedule without compromising quality.
• Take on additional assignments as needed and remain flexible to support other departments when required.
• Stay current on all required certifications and training for the role and apply new work requirements with minimal supervision.
• Use basic computer programs, including internal systems, spreadsheets for documentation, and email, to record information and communicate as needed.

• Basic electronic manufacturing or assembly experience, including through-hole or surface mount soldering, is strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and follow blueprints or work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate internal programs, use basic Excel for documentation, and work with email applications such as Outlook.
• Ability to adapt to changes in work plans, priorities, and leadership decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Capability to work cooperatively within a team and cross-functional teams, contributing positively to group objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality standards and production goals.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with supervisors and coworkers.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently while also functioning well in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and become comfortable completing different tasks frequently as production needs change.
• Capability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift and to frequently reach at waist level.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
• One or more years of related experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment is preferred, though entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Consistent ability to complete assignments on time without compromising quality and to meet individual throughput goals.
• Ability to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment and uphold a positive, cooperative attitude.

• Experience in electronic assembly, including through-hole or surface mount soldering, is a strong plus.
• Background in retail, fast food, food service, or other manufacturing fields is valued and considered good preparation for this role.
• Familiarity with reading and working from blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools in a production or assembly environment.
• Demonstrated interest in progressing within a manufacturing organization and building a long-term career.
• Willingness to support workplace improvement initiatives, such as 5S and other productivity or efficiency projects.
• Ability to recognize opportunities to improve work productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Comfort working under close supervision while acquiring new job skills and applying new requirements with minimal additional guidance.
• Openness to taking on additional assignments and helping in other departments as needed.

The role is based in a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level. You will work on a C shift schedule consisting of every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in 12-hour shifts. The position is classified as light industrial and general assembly, with typical lifting requirements of no more than 10–15 pounds. You will perform tasks such as testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging, with the option to either sit or stand during the shift; however, standing will be required for portions of the day. The environment emphasizes adherence to quality policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, and uses basic computer systems, spreadsheets, and email for documentation and communication. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
