Complex Litigation Attorney

Law firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Attorney to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with complex commercial and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and analysis on substantive and procedural issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Assist with discovery, including document review, fact development, deposition preparation, and discovery strategy
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other case-related proceedings
• Analyze documents, evidence, and factual issues to help develop case strategy
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on substantive aspects of active matters
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties as appropriate
• Assist with trial preparation and other case-critical projects
• Take on increasing responsibility as experience and skills develop

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the relevant state bar and in good standing
• Between 1-5 years of litigation experience required
• Eagerness to learn, take on new challenges, and grow within a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment

Salary Range: $100-130K
