Estimator III

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee all levels of project estimates, including Preliminary, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Budgetary, and Definitive estimates
• Serve as a core member of project teams, participating in meetings, reviewing design drawings and Plant Design Change (PDC) packages, and conducting plant walkdowns
• Estimate craft labor hours, professional services, equipment, and material costs using vendor and contractor bids
• Monitor labor market trends, equipment pricing, material costs, and applicable tax liabilities in coordination with procurement
• Support development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the CGS Long-Range Plan (LRP) for capital and expense projects
• Oversee project coordination activities related to annual project planning and ensure compliance with established procedures
• Identify project risks, establish internal controls, and monitor key financial and cost performance indicators
• Represent estimating functions in management and project-level meetings, explaining estimate assumptions and accuracy levels
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost records, and benchmarking data
• Support biennial refueling outage activities as required
• Attend department, safety, and all-hands meetings and perform additional duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors.
