Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make a direct impact on the design and development of advanced power distribution and control systems? We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer II to join a growing engineering team focused on delivering innovative low-voltage and medium-voltage power solutions for critical industrial and commercial applications.

\n

This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and contribute to products from concept through deployment while driving continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

\n

\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Design and develop power distribution equipment, switchgear, transfer switch systems, and industrial control solutions.
\n
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, bills of material, relay settings, and technical documentation.
\n
• Perform electrical studies including load analysis, short-circuit calculations, voltage drop analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash assessments.
\n
• Partner closely with manufacturing, controls, mechanical, and project engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
\n
• Validate designs through testing, inspections, and technical design reviews.
\n
• Troubleshoot product, manufacturing, and field issues while implementing effective engineering solutions.
\n
• Support product certifications, regulatory compliance initiatives, and UL inspections.
\n
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in customer-facing technical discussions.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
\n
• 8+ years of electrical design, product engineering, or power systems experience.
\n
• Strong background in power distribution equipment, switchgear, transfer switches, industrial controls, or motor control systems.
\n
• Working knowledge of UL and NEC requirements related to power distribution equipment.
\n
• Experience supporting engineered-to-order products and cross-functional project teams.
\n
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk design tools.
\n
• Strong understanding of protection schemes, grounding systems, controls integration, and electrical equipment design.
\n
• Knowledge of PLCs, relays, HMIs, industrial communications, and automation concepts.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Medium-voltage switchgear design experience.
\n
• MTR certification or related industry credentials.
\n
