Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Virginia, VA

Type: Contract

Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous team improvement.

• Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Agile best practices and principles.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.

• Support the development team in removing impediments to ensure smooth progress of sprint deliverables.

• Monitor, track, and report on team performance metrics and sprint progress.

• Support the adoption of Agile methodologies across teams and departments as needed.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of Scrum Master experience

• Strong preference for candidates with 10+ years of experience

• Experience supporting Agile teams in complex enterprise environments

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

• SAFe and Scrum certifications are preferred
