Employment Type: Full-Time. This posting will remain open for a minimum of two weeks from the position posted date. The pay range for this role is $73,395 - $106,016 annually. Job Purpose and Function In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. Your medical practice management skills will be put to use to drive business results, and your people leadership skills will come into play as you develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. Required Education & Licenses Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Required Experience Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.). A Day in the Life of a Banfield Practice Manager Duties involve everything from interviewing, hiring and developing associates, to evaluating the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity. Interview, hire, and develop associates. Evaluate hospital processes, progress and productivity. Train associates on educating clients about Banfield guidelines and preventive care. Educate associates on Banfield guidelines/practices. Budget and plan for the hospital. Support daily operations and staff. Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing education needs.
