As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Visitor Registration in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional, visible presence while helping to deter incidents and communicating clearly with employees, guests, and emergency personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a front-desk post within a chemical/petrochemical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in records, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, communications equipment, and/or visitor management tools; report unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor records, and shift handoff information while supporting a professional and welcoming front-desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
