Electrical Estimator

Support project management by developing, reviewing, and updating electrical project estimates and schedules to ensure cost-efficient project execution. Analyze costs, validate contractor bids, and assist in project planning and risk assessment. Responsibilities Prepare ROM, budgetary, unit pricing, and detailed estimates for electrical projects. Review design documents, scope packages, and contractor/engineering estimates. Validate quantities, change orders, and project costs. Develop estimate details by WBS to cost-load schedules. Perform cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering. Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned. Collaborate in a team/matrix structure and support multiple projects. Qualifications High School + 10+ years Electrical estimating experience, or Associate/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering + relevant experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with electrical systems, reading plans, and calculating labor/material costs. Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff).
