The Licensed Insurance Agent will independently manage the sale of property and casualty insurance products, providing expert consultation, policy sales, and claims assistance to clients. This role requires adherence to compliance standards and effective risk assessment to meet client needs, supported by strong customer service and record-keeping skills. Utilizing CRM, quoting tools, and agency management software, the agent will maintain client relationships and manage renewals without the need for travel.

 

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate property and casualty policies
• Manage policy sales from quote to issuance using insurance quoting and AMS software
• Assist clients with claims processes and provide ongoing support
• Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and company policies
• Conduct risk assessments to tailor insurance solutions
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships via CRM software
• Maintain accurate records and manage policy renewals efficiently
• Stay informed of product knowledge and industry developments

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales
• Valid State Insurance License

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, especially property and casualty
• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) and agency management systems (AMS)
• Effective sales techniques and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities
