Receptionist/Patient Accounts RepresentativeThe Receptionist/Patient Accounts Representative (Receptionist/PAR) functions as an intermediary between staff, patients, peers, and visitors. The Receptionist/PAR is responsible for maintaining the organization of the medical office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks essential to the provision of efficient and effective care. The Receptionist/PAR is also responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent, requiredExperience counting money accurately, requiredExperience as a receptionist, patient account representative or similar role, preferredQualifications:Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable, punctual, and highly detail-orientedStrong multitasking and independent-work capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyWork Schedule:(Rotating schedule)Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8:00AM – 8:00PM and Sunday 1:00PM – 8:00PMWeek Two: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00AM – 8:00PM
