SIPS Specialist 2 - Supplier Information and Process Solutions

Duration: 1 year

This position is responsible for supporting the Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team with vetting, establishing and maintaining the 60k+ supplier master database in support of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

Responsibilities include processing requests to add, change, or inactivate suppliers based on established policies and procedures. This is a fast-paced, high volume transactional role which requires the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information . This position interacts with both internal and external customers and must adhere to compliance, auditing controls, and guidelines. Potential candidate must be a self-starter, work independently, and be flexible with changes in responsibility to meet the needs of the team.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years’ related work experience
• Excellent and extensive analytical and organizational skills
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Attention to detail
•Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong time management abilities
• Problem solving skills
• Reliable to be onsite in the office in downtown Birmingham during normal scheduled work hours \nCompany Description
