Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday OR Monday/Tuesday/Thursday in OR with clinic on Wednesday and administrative duties on Friday; 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; includes morning rounding and occasional weekend coverage
Highlights:
- 6-8 month contract covering military leave
- Orthopedic specialty practice with diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Clinic volume of 20-25 patients per day with dedicated clinical support staff
- First assist in OR for total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and general orthopedic procedures including foot/ankle, shoulder, knee, hip, and hand/wrist surgeries
- EPIC EMR system (Excellian)
- 34-bed community hospital setting
Requirements:
- Active Minnesota license as Physician Assistant (MN Board of Medical Practice) or Nurse Practitioner (Minnesota Board of Nursing)
- Board Certification: NCCPA certification for PAs or ANCC Certified Nurse Practitioner or equivalent specialty certification
- DEA and CSR required
- BLS Tier 1 certification required within 180 days
- Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience required
- Minimum 1+ years of OR experience required
- Prior orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred
- Skills in OR first assist, clinic procedures, casting/splinting, DME application, and joint injections
