Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Technician responsible for handling data entry of prescriptions and managing provider communications, including inbound and outbound calls. The technician will work closely with various departments to resolve open issues.


Shift Options:

• 10 AM - 6 PM CST(Monday - Friday)
• 11 AM - 7 PM CST(Monday - Friday)
• 12 pm - 8 pm CST (Monday - Friday)
• Must be able to work 1 Saturday shifts a month (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST)

Key Responsibilities

• Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions.
• Handle provider/physician communications, including voicemails and calls.
• Accept inbound provider calls through warm transfers.
• Resolve open issues involving various departments such as pharmacists and technicians.

Qualifications

• PTCB or NHA (ExCPT) certification required prior to joining.
• Must hold an active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain it before the start date.

Skills

• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software.
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations.
