Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including initial evaluations and periodic re-evaluations, to identify physical limitations and develop appropriate therapy goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals, integrating evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Provide hands-on therapy that includes advanced manual therapy modalities, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy techniques tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, ergonomics, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle adjustments that promote recovery and long-term wellness.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring adjustments to treatment plans are made as needed, based on clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care for our patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring continuity of care and compliance.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy practices, attending workshops and integrating new techniques into patient treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and goals effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida.
• At least three years of experience in physical therapy, demonstrating a solid foundation in rehabilitative practices.
• Strong clinical skills with proficiency in performing and evaluating various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of mutual respect and support.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes individuals' rehabilitation and overall health outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient therapy settings will be preferred, particularly with patient populations involving orthopedic and neurological conditions. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., manual therapy, dry needling, or sports therapy) are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Physiotherapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
