Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(MR), ARRT(R), BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience.
Details
- Radiology/Cardiology MRI Tech position in an adult acute care, ICU, and outpatient setting
- 2x12-hour day shifts
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required
- Performs imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, diffusion, and perfusion studies
- Uses GE and Philips MRI equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- ARRT(MR) and ARRT(R) certifications required
- BLS preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
- Proficiency in a wide range of MRI procedures across abdominal, neuro, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Both Kansas and Missouri licenses (or compact license) required at time of consideration due to floating requirements
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
- Must have no employment gaps greater than 90 days in the past year
- Returning staff must have at least an 18-month tenure with a 3-month break in service
- Permanent BJC or Saint Luke's employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Compliance documentation due 2 Fridays before start date, with 10-15 hours of training modules required prior to start
