Be part of a legacy of excellence and growth with sg360°!We are currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm to 6am), who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mail and bindery production equipment within the facility, ensuring that down time is keep to a minimum. Machinery involved includes CMC/W&D/, Flowmasters and MCS Inserters, Folding and Affixing equipment (MBO Finishing Lines and Folders), vacuum bases, hot melt glue systems, friction feeders and various other finishing equipment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant mail and bindery equipmentConducts regular inspections of production equipment and performs daily preventive maintenance duties on plant equipmentFabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipmentAssist and train operators in proper set-up proceduresMaintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receiptsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulationsReport all safety hazards to shift supervisor and maintenance managerOther duties as assignedRequirementsAbility to work in a team environment; be a team playerSelf-motivated – requires minimal supervisionIntermediate level of computer skillsGreat oral communication skillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance of mail and bindery equipmentPreferred QualificationsElectrical experience a plus4-6 years of experience in maintenance of mail and bindery equipment preferredBi-lingual speaking a plus (English and Spanish)Welding and Fabricating experience a plusAbility to read schematics and blueprints a plusPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to walk or stand for the entire assigned shift.Ability to lift 50+ pounds.Exposure to hot, humid, and/or dusty environments.Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and standing.SG360° is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
