OTR CDL A Driver | $.70 CPM | 3,000 Miles Weekly

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring experienced OTR CDL A Drivers for a long-haul trucking opportunity offering strong miles, competitive pay, newer equipment, flexible home-time options, and a driver-focused work environment.

Drivers start at $0.70 CPM, with the opportunity to earn more depending on experience and safety record. Drivers average approximately 3,000 miles per week, providing strong earning potential for qualified Class A drivers.

This position is available to qualified drivers throughout the Lower 48 states. Because home time is influenced by the driver's location, drivers living closer to Illinois and the Midwest may have opportunities for more frequent home time, while drivers living farther away should expect to stay out longer.

Drivers typically stay out 2–3 weeks at a time, with the ability to stay out longer if desired.

The majority of freight is dry van and no-touch, allowing drivers to focus on safe and efficient operation of the truck.

Duties

The OTR CDL A Driver will be responsible for:

Safely operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle.
Transporting primarily dry van freight throughout the Lower 48 states.
Averaging approximately 3,000 miles per week.
Completing assigned routes and deliveries safely and efficiently.
Providing reliable service to customers and carrier partners.
Maintaining communication with dispatch and management.
Performing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintaining a safe and professional driving record.
Properly securing and transporting freight.
Following applicable DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
Maintaining the assigned truck and reporting maintenance concerns.
Operating automatic-transmission equipment.
Working primarily with no-touch freight.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Must be 23 years old or older.
Minimum 2 years of recent Class A driving experience.
Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
Must be able to safely operate in an OTR environment.
Must meet all applicable company and carrier qualification requirements.
Moving Violations

Drivers must have:

No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the past 12 months.
No more than 2 non-serious moving violations within the past 3 years.
Accidents / Incidents

Drivers must have:

No more than 1 non-serious accident or incident within the past 12 months.
No more than 2 non-serious accidents or incidents within the past 3 years.
DUI / DWI / OWI
No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years.
Automatic Disqualification Criteria

The following violations or accidents result in immediate disqualification:

Cell phone while driving
Careless driving
Reckless driving
Speeding 15+ MPH over the posted speed limit
Jackknife
Rollover
At-fault accident resulting in a fatality
Any drug or alcohol charges in a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)

Home Time

Home time is based largely on the driver's location.

Typical schedule: 2–3 weeks out
Approximately 4 days home after staying out 2 weeks
Approximately 1 full week home after staying out 3 weeks
Drivers may stay out longer than 3 weeks if desired
Drivers located closer to Illinois and the Midwest may receive more frequent home time
Drivers located farther from the Midwest should expect longer periods between home-time periods
