Commercial Litigation CounselPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Of Counsel to join our legal team. This role will focus on providing expert legal guidance in commercial litigation matters, representing our organization in various disputes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of commercial and complex litigation, with a strong ability to navigate business disputes effectively. This position is with a law firm and is not an in house role.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee commercial litigation cases from inception to resolutionProvide legal advice on complex litigation matters and business disputesRepresent the organization in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrationsDraft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contractsConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to develop business-focused solutions to disputesStay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial litigationQualificationsJurisdictions License to practice law in NJ; bonus points for NY admissionJD from an accredited law school8+ years of experience in commercial litigationStrong knowledge of complex litigation, business disputes, and shareholder disputesExperience with breach of contract and restrictive covenantsExcellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBenefits- Medical, dental & vision insurance- 401k- PTO- Bonus
