While the presidential administration threatens freedoms and serves the top 1%, the Maryland based candidate will protect working class families and restore a faith in government that truly serves its people.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and ethically driven Campaign Treasurer to join our team and help ensure our financial operations are transparent, compliant, and well organized.

Position Summary

The Campaign Treasurer is responsible for managing all financial reporting and compliance requirements for the campaign committee. This role ensures that the campaign adheres to all Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations, state requirements, and internal financial controls. The Campaign Treasurer will work closely with the candidate and campaign leadership to maintain accurate financial records and support responsible budget management.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Compliance & FEC Reporting

  • Prepare and file all required quarterly FEC reports accurately and on time.

  • Maintain complete, organized, and up-to-date financial records.

  • Track contributions, expenditures, in-kind donations, and reimbursements in accordance with FEC regulations.

  • Monitor contribution limits and donor eligibility to ensure compliance.

• Financial Oversight & Administration

  • Manage the campaign bank account, including deposits and payments.

  • Review and approve campaign expenses, ensuring proper documentation and authorization. Produce periodic financial summaries for campaign leadership.

• Events & Donations

  • The Campaign Treasurer must be present at quarterly in-person events to receive cash donations.

  • The Campaign Treasurer should also maintain oversight of online donations.

• Ethics & Transparency

  • Uphold the highest standards of financial accountability and transparency.

  • Ensure strict confidentiality around campaign financial information and donor data.

Qualifications

• MUST able to attend in-person events in Maryland on an as needed basis, likely every other month through June 2026.

• Prior experience in campaign finance, political accounting, bookkeeping, or related fields preferred.

• Working knowledge of FEC compliance (or willingness to quickly learn with a strong track record of fast learning).

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.

• Commitment to progressive values and the campaign's mission.

• Proficiency with FEC software is a plus.

Time Commitment

• The position requires up to 20 hours per month, with increased hours potentially needed around major filing deadlines.

• Flexible schedule, with occasional availability for time-sensitive tasks.
