Pricing Manager

About the Role The Jobber Pricing Manager serves as a strategic business partner to independent NAPA store owners, leveraging data analytics, pricing strategy, and consultative relationship management to drive profitability and operational success across an assigned portfolio. This individual analyzes complex data sets, identifies pricing opportunities and business trends, and delivers actionable recommendations that positively impact store performance. In addition to conducting deep-dive business reviews and pricing analysis, the role acts as a trusted advisor to independent owners—helping resolve operational, reporting, inventory, and program-related challenges. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess strong analytical capability, intellectual curiosity, and relationship-building skills. Responsibilities Build and maintain trusted, consultative relationships with assigned independent owners; tailor communication style to a wide range of owner sophistication and personality Conduct deep-dive pricing and profitability reviews (target cadence: twice per year per owner) and translate findings into clear, defensible recommendations Respond to ad‑hoc owner pricing questions and operational concerns with speed, accuracy, and sound judgment—often working through ambiguous or incomplete information Build and refine reporting and visualizations in Excel and Power BI to surface insights owners can act on Partner with NAPA Pricing, field support (TSMs) and senior leadership to align owner‑level decisions with broader company strategy Continuously identify and pilot process improvements as JAS scales and absorbs new advisory scope Manage multiple owner projects in parallel without dropping priorities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field required Required Skills 4–7+ years of experience in pricing, finance, FP&A, analytics, business consulting, or related analytical functions Advanced Excel capabilities required, including experience working with large data sets, data modeling, pivot tables, formulas, and analytical reporting tools Experience leveraging business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms preferred Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations that drive business performance Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to connect data insights across multiple business areas Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, or customer relationships simultaneously in a dynamic environment Proven ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and influence stakeholders without direct authority Exposure to distribution, automotive, retail, franchise, dealer, independent operator, or other multi‑location business environments preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to varying audiences Preferred Skills We seek a collaborative, solutions‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrates strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, humility, and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
