This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. Unit Overview\n \n Number of Beds: 3 cath labs \n Staffing: 10-11 staff members per day, including a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists \n Patient Ratios: 3 staff members per patient room \n Equipment: GE X-ray/MacLab \n EMR System: Meditech \n Typical Responsibilities\n You will perform the following procedures as part of your role: \n \n Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations \n Utilization of Impella and balloon-pump technologies \n Management of peripheral cases \n Execution of complex PCIs \n Occasional device insertions \n Qualifications\n To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria: \n \n Essential Skills: Experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab \n Preferred Skills: High-volume lab experience managing complex cases \n Personality Fit\n We are looking for a candidate who is: \n \n Easy-going, kind, and friendly \n Able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment \n Certifications Required\n \n Current RN license \n RT certification \n Work Expectations\n Regular attendance and professionalism are vital. You must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes when called back. Weekend and on-call shifts may be required.
