Do you enjoy setting up machines and dialing in tooling? Can you read prints, use dial calipers and micrometers, and keep quality on target? If that sounds like you, join Fenner Precision Polymers on our Eagle Extrusion team and help produce industry-leading belting products.
Your MissionProduce high-quality thermoplastic belts by safely setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion and secondary equipment, then fabricating endless belts that meet customer specifications.
What You’ll Do- Set up and tear down extrusion lines, including Crosshead, Dies, and associated tooling.
- Operate extrusion and secondary machinery to meet specification and schedule.
- Interpret product prints; run in-process checks with dial calipers and micrometers.
- Follow ISO work instructions and JSAs to ensure safety and consistency.
- Move raw materials and finished goods appropriately within production.
- Label and prepare materials for drying and processing.
- Keep a current forklift license and use it safely.
- Complete secondary processes such as Driver Pad Drilling.
- Fabricate o-rings and profile belts using automated and manual approaches.
- Perform butt welding and verify weld integrity.
- Document production in the DSI shop floor control system with precision.
- Apply packaging standards; maintain cleanliness with routine housekeeping and 6S audits.
- Demonstrate Fenner Precision Polymers’ Values and Behaviors every day.
Start as a Level 1 Operator and progress through three defined levels as you develop technical mastery and reliability.
What You’ll Bring- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
- Hands-on mechanical ability and troubleshooting mindset.
