Video Editor

MGX Creative is looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our dynamic post-production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality video content for MGX Creative’s work across a variety of projects and initiatives. You’ll work in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment, helping to bring a variety of exciting projects to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in video editing, with deep proficiency in NLE applications, and a natural talent for storytelling. Responsibilities include: Edit video content for a wide range of clients, ensuring a high standard of quality and creativity. Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and the creative team to bring concepts and ideas to life. Enhance raw footage with cutting-edge editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and adding graphics/effects. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines. Review and refine edits based on feedback, ensuring the final product aligns with client expectations and project goals. Continuously communicate with the post-production team, ensuring that everyone is aware of the project’s progress and any issues that arise. Ensure that the final product meets the highest quality standards, including color grading, audio mixing, file naming conventions and is devoid of any errors. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies in video editing, continually improving your craft, and recommend improvements to our existing technologies as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing corporate and/or creative video projects. Expert-level proficiency in NLE softwares (Adobe, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Excellent storytelling skills with a strong understanding of pacing, structure, and visual communication. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. Attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional content. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Secondary Qualifications: Proven experience with both sound design and color correction work, in both temporary and final passes Proven experience creating and finalizing motion graphics and VFX work (i.e. compositing, rotoscoping) Experience working off remote-based servers such as LucidLink and Suite Experience working off Adobe Productions in a multi-editor environment Candidates with samples that include these secondary qualifications will be given top consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr MGX CREATIVE
