The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.Essential duties and responsibilities:Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stockMaintaining clear records on all inventory and stockInspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damagesOrganizing the warehouse spacePreparing orders for shipmentOperating stock management tools; for example, a forklift, pallet jackCounting stock and keeping inventory recordsAny other duties as assignedSkills and qualifications:Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouseThorough understanding of warehouse policies and proceduresExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skillsHard workingDrug Screening will be REQUIREDPhysical requirements:Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.Education and/or training:High School diploma or equivalent required1+ years of warehouse experienceA forklift driver's certification is preferredWork conditions:Office and warehouse environmentOccasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of timeRequired wearing of appropriate PPEExposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse environmentFrequent computer and telephone useFrequent communication with people throughout the daySalary range:$7.25 - $40.00Equal opportunity employer:HF Foods Group emphasizes and provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, creed, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
