Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Lock Haven, Pennsylvania

Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to contribute expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role is ideal for individuals who thrive on night shifts and are committed to the highest standards of patient care.


Schedule:

• Night shifts: 36 hours per week
• Consistent schedule: Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years' recent, demonstrable experience as a respiratory therapist (must be clearly detailed on resume)
• Thorough knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a clinical team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and aerosol generators
• Administer prescribed therapeutic modalities such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication, and pulmonary function testing
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, including rapid intubation and resuscitation
• Accurately document patient therapies, responses, and any significant events during the shift
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
