Iron Seal Company is a turnkey design and manufacturing company offering top-tier custom molded polyurethane parts, specializing in the Oil and Gas sector. Built on the belief that experience and dedication to small areas of change can deliver measurable impact, we pinpoint existing operational constraints to identify and innovate solutions to future problems.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and document QC and testing procedures for raw materials, prepolymers, and finished parts and Non-conforming items

• Operate and maintain FTIR, TA DMA Electroforce 3500, T7 titrator (%NCO, amine/OH values), Brookfield viscometer, Density Meter, and Ultimate Testing Machine, Taber Abraser units etc.

• Support R&D further product and prepolymer development

• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements

• Maintain test records and help build data tracking systems

• Help expand our testing capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (recent grads welcome)

• Lab instrument experience; polyurethane or polymer experience a plus

• Familiarity with ASTM methods (D412, D624, D2240, D2572) & Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in both the lab and shop floor
