What You’ll Do
• Develop and document QC and testing procedures for raw materials, prepolymers, and finished parts and Non-conforming items
• Operate and maintain FTIR, TA DMA Electroforce 3500, T7 titrator (%NCO, amine/OH values), Brookfield viscometer, Density Meter, and Ultimate Testing Machine, Taber Abraser units etc.
• Support R&D further product and prepolymer development
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements
• Maintain test records and help build data tracking systems
• Help expand our testing capabilities
What We’re Looking For
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (recent grads welcome)
• Lab instrument experience; polyurethane or polymer experience a plus
• Familiarity with ASTM methods (D412, D624, D2240, D2572) & Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in both the lab and shop floor
