Description:
Position available for a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
The setting is inpatient rehabilitation.
This role involves working with pediatric patients.
The average caseload is 5-8 patients per day.
The therapy team model is multidisciplinary.
Equipment available includes parallel bars, LiteGait, FES, aquatic therapy equipment, wheelchairs, standers, adaptive strollers, and adaptive tricycles.
Any color scrubs are permitted, but logos are not allowed.
Charting will be completed using an electronic documentation system.
This is a non-smoking facility with zero tolerance for smoking.
Compliance documentation is required prior to the start of the assignment.
References are preferred and must be available upon request.
No age cut-off; patients of any age may be treated.
Weekend and holiday coverage is typically required for most units.
This position requires teamwork and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Specific patient diagnoses will vary.
The job may expose the incumbent to blood, body fluids, or non-intact skin in emergency situations.
Candidates must apply for a state license within a specified timeframe after acceptance of the position.
A pending license application can be considered for submission under specific conditions.
