This position does not offer any sponsorship.The Scientist III – Potency Assay role supports routine testing for release, for stability studies, in-process samples, and/orcell-line development samples, as part of the development of biologic based drugsResponsibilitiesSupports routine testing for release, stability studies, in-process, and/or cell-line developmentMonitors controlled temperature unitsCompletes sample submission and sample managementMaintains accurate documentation and recordsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in related science with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testing, or a Master’s degree in a related science with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testingRequired Skills and ExperienceCurrent cellular and/or molecular biology and immunoassay experienceAnalysis of biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or other therapeutic proteins in one or more of the following techniques:Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), host cell proteins (HCP), protein-A (proA), and binding potency assayQuantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and basic molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, etc.)High-throughput liquid handling system, e.g., Tecan, Bravo, etc.Analytical software SoftMax ProExperience with BSL2 (Biosafety Level 2) cabinetsSample submission and sample managementAbout ParexelParexel FSP includes the CMC Operations group.
